What gave us the idea?
Our dad's birthday was coming up and he's one of those men that are particularly hard to buy presents for. I wanted to get him something useful, unique but also somethat that showed some care and attention rather than buying something that everyone could have.
He had just got a new car and it was a really unique colour. A dark grey with flecks of metallic green in. A really unique colour that he paid extra for...so I thought, why not a matching phone.
Why did you start motorcased?
Motorcased has never meant to be anything more than providing a cool product that's not already on the market.
If we can offer something that makes motorheads truly excited to open, to be a great present for a loved one, then we're happy.
How do you make the cases?
We looked far and wide to see what might be a way to make a custom colour phone case: dye sublimation printing, painting the exterior of the case....and then we nailed it.
Don't worry, each case is still made by hand with a keen eye for quality.
